PARTICIPANT & SUPPORTER COMMENTS

The spinning of homespun cloth was a major component of Gandhi's non-violent campaign to win national and personal economic independence. The spinning of bicycle wheels, walking and public transit are major components of our independence and peace. (Download the high resolution version to print poster.)

Hi Jackie,
I'm totally in sinc with you guys. I've begun riding my bike to work whenever possible...I listen to Joni Mitchell's new album, Shine, and practically cry at the perspective. Thank you so much for doing this ride. I can hardly believe the power it has but it does. I am praying for Seamus' knees.
Best,
Diane

It was a great honor for me to participate in the ride on Saturday to transport the baton from Hendersonville (TN) to the Shelby Bottoms Greenway. Thank you so much, fellow riders one and all, for the pleasure of your company. The weather cooperated and the cause was far greater than the effort. I appreciate being included as an honorary FOGBEE for the day.
